About Darwin Security

Darwin Security provides prompt, reliable services with a range of security solutions from installation to maintenance. The company was formed in 2009 by a team of three like minded security installation and service engineers with a combined 45 years of hands on experience in the security industry. Since its inception the company has grown from strength to strength whilst continuing to maintain the strong ethics upon which it was founded and staying focused on customer service and value.

Darwin Security Ltd has an ever expanding customer base throughout the UK which includes businesses and organisations such as David Webster Limited, Balfour Beatty, Skanska, Carillion and Basildon District Council.

Meet the team

Paul Harbin — Company Director

Paul Harbin started in the security industry in 1997 as an apprentice and went on to qualify as an engineer in 1999 with a city and guilds level 2 in fire security and emergency alarm systems and city and guilds 236 electrical installation. In 2008 he received his BTEC qualification in data communications cable installation (fibre optic).

Spencer Russell — Company Director

Spencer Russell started in the security industry in 1998. Part owner and Director Spencer is an enthusiastic and driven individual, who is extremely passionate about the smallest of detail, design and function. Spencer is dedicated to providing an unparalleled level of service across all aspects of the business and security industry as a whole. With over 15 years of hands on experience he has a wealth of knowledge and an organized methodical way of implementing it.

Darren Currie — Company Director

Darren Currie started in the security industry in 1999 as an apprentice and went on to qualify as an engineer in 2001 with a city and guilds level 2 in fire security and emergency alarm systems.
